Life/Glow

A public library can be a places which can illuminate the spaces and special activities can be identified by pedestrians, so it can attract more people go to study and spend time in this building.
By inserting lighting towers inside the building, this white prism can traverse the normal floor plan. More importantly, surrounding the tower, unique spaces are closely linked with lighting situations which become the most important part inside this building. These white prisms ranging from different transparency of materials from total transparent glass to the opaque glass, so the attached spaces can have different atmosphere. They draw light from the roof at daytime, and shall be inlaid with graphics and information to describe the items, evoking the adventure of interpretation.
